Cam Fun at Austin Road

From future kindergartners taking their first steps into elementary school to budding engineers, artists and chefs, Austin Road students enjoyed a summer filled with learning, creativity and friendship through PTO-sponsored camps.

Incoming kindergartners built confidence for the school year during Kindercamp, while young learners explored ocean life through the “Under the Sea” Adventure Camp, blending reading, science, technology and creative play. Students also put their curiosity and problem-solving skills to the test during STEM Camp with hands-on robotics, coding and engineering challenges.

In The Crafty Kitchen camp, campers discovered that learning can be both creative and delicious. Students made French toast and ice cream sandwiches, planted flowers, designed custom pencil cases and enjoyed games with friends, combining culinary fun, creativity and hands-on learning every step of the way.

Young artists explored new skills during Super Sculptors, creating imaginative projects with paper mâché, clay and sewing, while Camp Fun kept students active through games, crafts, yoga and outdoor activities that encouraged teamwork, cooperation and new friendships.

Thanks to the Austin Road PTO, camp director Susan Downey and all the dedicated staff members, campers wrapped up the summer with new skills, lasting memories and plenty of excitement for the school year ahead.
