Fulmar Road Elementary School students recently marked a festive end to the school year during the annual Spirit Day celebration.
The day began with a special opening ceremony during which three retiring teachers, Fran Shea, Bernedette Krohomer and Mark Mitchell, were recognized for their dedication and service to the school. The students rotated through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including a pizza lunch, a visit to a shaved ice food truck, and a laser light show.
The event brought together the school community in celebration of a year well spent. The PTO generously provided each student with a Spirit Day T-shirt, with each grade assigned a different color. Many students brought permanent markers to exchange shirt signatures with classmates, a favorite tradition.
