Students at Lakeview Elementary School recently ended the school year on a high note with the school’s annual Kids Day celebration. The event – a day of fun, teamwork and school spirit – featured a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for all grade levels.
From capture the flag and tug-of-war to relay races, dodgeball and game show-style challenges, the students stayed active and engaged throughout the day. They also participated in a taekwondo demonstration, interactive music sessions, sign language activities and inflatable games.
Each student received a special Kids Day t-shirt and enjoyed a pizza lunch followed by ice pops, generously provided by the school’s PTO. Parent volunteers played a key role in the event’s success, helping the students navigate the stations and cheering them on throughout the day.
The event was a joyful sendoff to summer and a celebration of the hard work, growth and friendships the students built throughout the school year.
