Today we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day and recognize the incredible members of our food services team! Every day, they keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and make sure every child is nourished and ready to learn.
This year, Kathy Weinborg and her team have worked hard to implement universal breakfast and lunch across the district. Their ability to adapt and problem-solve all while supporting our students has made a meaningful difference.
“Our food service team has done a tremendous job this year,” Superintendent of Schools Frank Miele said. “Rolling out universal breakfast and lunch comes with its challenges, and they’ve handled everything with professionalism and care. We’re grateful for Kathy and her staff and everything they do for our students each day.”
